               The Udayachal High School motto is Tamaso ma jyotirgamaya which means from darkness to lightness. Whereas Udayachal Itself means the eastern mountain from where the sun, moon and the millions of stars rise in the infinite open expanse of the blue sky. The school has chosen the eastern mountain as the symbol of their ideal. 
                          Udayachal High School or UHS is an English medium, affiliated with the SSC board, situated in Vikhroli East, Mumbai, India.  It is affiliated with the ISA or International School Award that is awarded to elite schools by the British Council.                    UHS has students from standard 5-10. The current Principal of Udayachal High school is Mrs Rekha Pandey. Udayachal High school, owned by the Godrej family was established in 1955, having approximately 1337 students as of the academic year 2014-2015.
      Even though it is an SSC board school, it has created an International dimension in its curriculum where students are learning collaborations with international schools, team work, mentoring and developing students towards excellence.
