The moon is sleeping behind the Neem trees
But oh my little baby why are you still awake?

The cow is sleeping in cow shed, the little sparrow sleeping in her nest,
Flowers are also sleeping in the garden,
Close petals of your eyes, I am singing this lullaby for you.

Neither am I like ‘Devaki’ (Lord Krishna’s actual mother)
Nor am I fortunate like ‘Yashoda’ (mother who taken care of Lord Krishna)

I’m spreading my arms to receive all your sorrows.
This lullaby is unparalleled in this world as unique as motherhood.
